The two-day Beacon Speedrun Tournament starts MONDAY! Win part of the 10K $RON prize pool by completing a dungeon run as fast as you can. All players who submit a run will receive a silver Valkyrie’s Call, and the Top 32 finishers can take home anywhere from 100 to 2,000 $RON each! Here’s what’s happening:
Introducing the Beacon Speedrun Event
The Beacon is a free-to-play action roguelite with features like co-op, social hubs, progression ladders, and more coming soon. The Speedrun Event challenges YOU to beat the game as fast as possible. You’ll have two days to qualify for the Top 32 and a chance to earn rewards. The Top 32 will compete head-to-head in three separate Playoff rounds to crown a champion.
Prize Overview
1st: 2,000 $RON
2nd: 1,500 $RON
3rd–4th: 900 $RON each
5th–8th: 475 $RON each
9th–16th: 150 $RON each
17th–32nd: 100 $RON each
The Top 32 players will receive a Crimson Valkyrie’s Call, and ALL players who submit a run will receive a Silver Valkyrie’s Call.
Speedrun Event Timeline
Qualification Start: Monday, September 29th at 14:00 UTC
Qualification End: Tuesday, September 20th at 19:00 UTC
Top 32 Playoffs Start: Oct 1st at 14:00 UTC
Top 16 Playoffs Start: Oct 2nd at 14:00 UTC
Top 8 (Finals) Start: Oct 3rd at 16:00 UTC
Note: During the playoffs, players must check-in and be ready to play within five minutes of the scheduled time or risk disqualification. Bracket matches are single elimination (best-of-one) and finals are best-of-three. Each stage will feature a new dungeon.

Step 1: Make sure you have a Ronin Waypoint account
Step 2: Jump into the Beacon’s new dungeon between between Monday the 29th and Tuesday the 30th
Step 3: Post a video or screenshot of your run on Twitter/X using the hashtag #RoninxThebeacon
Step 4: Submit your fastest runs through this form
About the Beacon
The Beacon joined our movement a few weeks ago and has already made huge waves on Ronin. Their first playtest surpassed 200K DAU (!) and even featured a Ronin-exclusive NFT airdrop inspired by Axie Infinity’s Kotaro. The upcoming Speedrun event reinforces the emerging alliance between our communities and is only available on Ronin.
