We’re excited to announce that The Machines Arena (TMA) skins are now on-chain collectibles – available only on Ronin! Mint the skins you own and trade them on Mavis Market. This is a big step for TMA: the team won three awards from GDWC earlier this year and is now looking to build more Web3 components into their game. This year, they’re eyeing a mobile launch, a token generation event (TGE), a community airdrop, and more. 2024 is already shaping up to be a big year for Directive Games – and things are just getting started. The Machines Arena Skin Mint
TMA is a team-based top-down shooter where players can customize their warriors’ skins before heading into the arena. Acquire them by leveling up in-game or buying them on Mavis Market! Throughout 2024, the team is looking to ramp up their game’s Web3 integrations – and this is one step in that direction.
Night Ops. Dragon Dancer. Amorous Archer. Noble Polarspirit. Devol Engineer. These skins are now part of their own NFT collection, which you can trade with other players on Mavis Market. Some of them are even time-limited. For example, Dragon Dancer and Amorous Archer are only available until March 12th! How to Mint Your TMA Skins
Step 1: Go to TMA website and login on the top right of the screen using your Epic Games credentials.
Step 2: From your profile icon, press 'Wallets' and connect your Ronin wallet.
Step 3: Go to your skins inventory.
Step 4: Click on the skin you want to mint.
Step 5: Click on the 'Mint' button.
Step 6: Ronin Wallet extension pops up.
Step 7: Confirm the transaction and pay $RON for gas fees.
TMA Awards
Congratulations Directive Games! We were excited to see the TMA team bring home three awards from the Game Development World Championship: Best Web3 Game Award (1st place), Procedural Generation Award (1st place), and Best Visual Effects Award (3rd place). GDWC is a global competition for game developers based in Estonia that has been running for over 10 years.
CBT Rewards Refresher
There’s a lot going on in Web3 this year and it can be hard to stay on top of everything. So, in case you missed it, jump into The Machines Arena’s Beta Season 3 while you still can. Their Closed Beta Test is on-going, and exclusive rewards are up for grabs! Reach level 25 to unlock the Mercenary Bravo Zulu skin, and score the Urban Commando XE at level 50. More skins await at levels 75 and 100, which you can also mint as NFTs on Ronin.
Additionally, Beta Season 3 introduced a new exclusive skin for competitive Closed Beta players, “Sandbrushed” Riot, which you can obtain by reaching the higher levels of the Ranked PVP.
Note: players can only acquire the Unique Beta Season 3 skin by playing Ranked PVP .
