What do collectors look for on Ronin?
Axies are cute but fierce creatures that you can collect, evolve, and even play with. There are over 12 million in existence, and some are more coveted than others. For example, Pawn Stars host Rick Harrison traded a First Edition Charizard for a Mystic axie that has an ultra-rare Sky Mavis part. That means he appraised the axie at ~$13,500! Here’s an overview of some rare axies on the market:
Mystic Axies
Who should get one: Anyone looking for the First Edition Charizard of Axie Infinity
Current Floor Price: 2.2 ETH (or about $8,000)
Why they’re special: Rarity, special benefits, and VIP status
Mystic axies are often called the Crown Jewel of Ronin because of their rarity and special benefits. There are fewer than 1,500 in existence, and each one confers a flurry of advantages to its holder. For example, Mystic axie holders can get early access to new in-game features, first dibs on presale opportunities, membership in exclusive collector channels, and more. If you own a Mystic axie, you are a VIP in Axie Infinity.
Origin Axies
Who should get one: Anyone looking for an axie with historical value
Current Floor Price: 0.26 ETH (or about $950)
Why they’re special: First axies ever created
Origin axies are the first axies ever born. There are only 3,900 in existence, and each one represents a piece of Axie Infinity history. Every serious Axie collector has at least one Origin, and they often treat them like heirlooms. These are the perfect starter collectibles for anyone looking to balance scarcity with accessibility.
Japanese Axies
Who should get one: Anyone looking for an aesthetic axie
Current Floor Price: 0.025 ETH (or about $90)
Why they’re special: Iconic art
Japanese axies are beloved and respected for their iconic art. Fierce Dokuganryu eye parts. Ornamental Maiko ear parts. Spiritual Omatsuri tail parts. The unmistakable flair of Japanese axies will add style to any collection. The best part? They’re among the most affordable collectibles and have unique abilities in Axie Infinity games.
