Proof of Distribution S2 is almost here!
Rewards from S1 coming soon ⚔
Proof of Distribution’s 1st season ends on June 13th at 7am UTC! Season 2 will begin as soon as Season 1 is complete. Congratulations to the builders who secured part of this first crop of rewards, and thank you to everyone who shared their feedback around PoD calculations.
Reward Distribution Timeline: Builders will receive their RON rewards around June 21st. In the meantime, the Ronin Ecosystem team will conduct an internal review of potential botting, sybil attacks, and wash trading.
What’s happening in Season 2: Season 2 gives every team a fresh start and an opportunity to earn part of the 410,958 RON available each month. Remember: The PoD leaderboard resets between seasons.
One month of PoD complete. Ronin’s new automated reward system funnels RON to builders based on their contributions to our ecosystem. The more you build, the more you earn. On Saturday, we’ll lock-in builders’ S1 reward calculations and kick off the next 30-day season.

Season 1 Recap
Proof of Distribution Season 1 marked the first time we implemented automated rewards on Ronin, and served as a testrun for the protocol. We also saw a ton of healthy debate across our community. Thank you to every builder who provided feedback: Your insights helped us make the system stronger.
Throughout the season, we monitored network activity and adjusted the calculations multiple times to prevent sybil attacks and wash trading. These iterations ensure that RON goes exactly where it belongs: into the hands of teams onboarding real users and building sticky products. As a reminder, PoD rewards are coming from RON previously allocated for security, which we are now using to incentivize adoption and growth.
Project Spotlight: Craft World and Ragnarok Landverse America
Craft World: Currently holding the #3 spot on the leaderboard, has surged to #1 in terms of unique user count, attracting over 40,000 distinct participants this month. The project features a fully on-chain economy and remains committed to providing a frictionless, player-first experience for its community.
Ragnarok Landverse America: Ragnarok serves as a testament that Ronin is the ideal home for every type of game, including those with a predominantly Web2 player base who value the freedom to trade items openly on-chain. Its success in reaching the top 5 this season stems from its outstanding marketplace volume, positioning the project as a clear leader in this category.
Shape the Future of PoD
Proof of Distribution is a living, evolving protocol. As we transition into Season 2, we want to keep the dialogue open. If you have ideas on how we can further improve PoD, tweak category weights, or better optimize the mechanics to reward genuine user adoption, we want to hear from you. Share your feedback with us in the Discord or tag us on X!
Now that PoD is up and running, the next step is to work on the honor system as well. The idea is to have a system of builders, collectors, players, and asset holders that feed back into each other, with the system benefiting the network and its value. For example, one way to make the system sybil-proof is to take into account user reputation for a builder’s growth score.
See you on the Season 2 leaderboard!
