What’s a cross-chain swap?
Cross-chain swaps are a way to exchange tokens across different blockchains. For example, imagine you have ETH on Base and want to swap it for RON on Ronin. Before today’s update, you would bridge ETH from Base to Ronin → Swap ETH to RON on Ronin. That requires multiple transactions, many wallet confirmations, and lots of clicks! Today’s cross-chain swap update makes that process easier than ever.
Just open your wallet, enter the tokens you want to trade, and click swap. Trade tokens faster and make fewer clicks. Here’s what that looks like in your Ronin Wallet:
How to make a cross-chain swap
Step 1: Open your Ronin Wallet
Step 2: Click “Swap”
Step 3: Select “Enable” in the cross-chain swap banner
Step 4: Toggle the chains on which you’d like to swap
Step 5: Choose the tokens you want to swap, select their respective chains, and input an amount
Step 6: Click “Swap”
