Welcome to Season 3 of Cambria’s Gold Rush! The risk-to-earn MMO is BACK with fresh rewards, new features, and huge opportunities for guilds. Are you ready to compete for an ever-growing prize pool of ETH and RON? There’s only one way to find out:
What is Gold Rush S3?
In Gold Rush, players compete against each other to extract a fortune from the remnants of a land devastated by an unexplained disaster. Every step outside the safe zones of the Capital City is a calculated risk to acquire Artifacts, Curios, and Gems. Acquire Items → Exchange them for Silver or Royal Favor → Climb the Leaderboard → Earn Rewards.
What’s new in Season 3?
Ruined Dungeons are collapsed access corridors into the Ancient’s underground city-network. They spawn around the overworld and remain active until completed or claimed by players. They’re loaded with high-reward enemies, traps, chests, and [redacted]! Learn more about Ruined Dungeons here.
The new Heat Index tells you how solo-friendly or group-contested a location is on a scale from 0 to 100. Higher heat → More competition → High rewards. Learn more about the new Heat Index here.
Marks are tradeable buffs dropped from Ruined Dungeon chests. Equip up to three Marks at once to activate their buffs. Unattune them to make them tradeable. Learn more about Marks here.
Boosts are random consumable buffs that drop while you play. However, you can only use them during the same run in which you pick them up! They’ll vanish upon death or entering a safe zone. Learn more about Boosts here.
Gold Rush Season 3 Rewards
The Season 3 ETH and RON prize pools will grow according to Royal Charter purchases. At the end of the season, the amount of Silver each player holds will determine how much of the prize pool they earn in USDC. Want to earn more Silver? Farm Tier 3 monsters, mine high-tier ores, complete chest routes in higher-heat zones, and finish long expeditions with a strong multiplier. Here’s how YOU can get started in Gold Rush:
How to get started with Gold Rush S3
Step 1: Get a Royal Charter
Think of these as a “Season Pass.” Without one, you can only play until your starting energy runs out. You also need a Royal Charter to transfer items to other players and earn the maximum amount of rewards available.
Step 2: Choose your Path
There are three ways to play and earn in Gold Rush. Become an Adventurer, Paymaster, or a Guild Member.
Adventurers earn by extracting loot, battling it out in PvP, and exploring Ruined Dungeons. Think of them as lone wolf, solo players.
Paymasters earn passive yield based on other Adventurers’ loot earnings. To become a Paymaster, deposit your Royal Charter into the Syndicate Vault. However, there’s a catch! If guilds dominate the leaderboard, they’ll muscle out rewards from Adventurers. As a result, Paymasters will earn much less.
Guilds are the most exciting part of Gold Rush Season 3. Team up with other players, get sponsored, and earn reward splits from your collective efforts. Viceroys create guilds, and you can become a Viceroy by depositing 10 or more Royal Charters OR holding a Cambria Founder NFT. In Season 3, guilds will also see clearer contribution tracking, customizable split options, and a stronger connection between Leaderboard Rank <> Reduced Paymaster Tax.
Step 3: Prepare your Build and Entering the Wildness
Once you’ve chosen a gameplay path, you’ll need to stock up on Energy Orbs and Gear. Then, you’ll choose where to enter the Wilderness: In a remote, low-heat zone or a contested, high-heat zone. Remote means safer but less rewards. Contested means high loot but competitive PvP.
Step 4: Cash-In Your Loot
Cash-in loot at the Royal Treasury to get Silver and Royal Favor. After you pay the Paymaster and Cambria taxes, you’ll get a multiplier that can increase the rewards you earn.
Keep stacking Silver and Royal Favor to earn more. At this point, you may also want to make a choice around which leaderboard you’ll compete on. Learn more about that here.
