Key Points
The Ronin Wallet’s new browser extension allows users to switch between two wallet modes: a sidebar integrated into the Ronin Wallet browser extension and a pop-up wallet mode. All of the mobile wallet’s features including multi-chain support will work with both options. We’ve also introduced a Known Threat feature to our Trusted Domain System to warn users about dangerous apps.
The Ronin Wallet now supports Arbitrum! If you’ve already turned on auto-update in your Ronin Wallet, no action is required for this update. If not, you’ll need to open the Ronin Wallet application on the App Store or Google Play Store and click Update.
In this release, we’ve also fixed a bug on Android where some Ronin Wallet apps were crashing due to an issue with animation libraries on some device models.
The Ronin Wallet's latest updates are LIVE! A new browser extension sidebar. Support for Arbitrum. Bug fixes for Android. This release makes it easier than ever to use your Ronin Wallet on desktop – and on multiple EVM-compatible chains. Here's what's new:
The Ronin Wallet Browser Extension Sidebar
Today, Ronin has about 1.2M daily active users (DAU) and can handle up to ~40M transactions per day. However, we’ve also shared our vision for a future where Ronin processes hundreds of millions of transactions everyday. That journey requires a user-friendly UX that works for muggles and cryptonatives. Enter the Ronin Wallet sidebar.
The Ronin Wallet sidebar integrates into your browser. Swap, stake, sign transactions, and more without pop-ups and easy-to-lose transaction windows. Say goodbye to re-opening your browser extension every time you navigate back to Google Chrome! The Ronin Wallet sidebar safeguards against some forms of human error, and makes Ronin more convenient to access. Everyone wins: users are safer, game studios see less friction from players, and our movement becomes stronger.

The browser extension update alsos bring all mobile features to the browser extension. That means Ronin, ETH, BNB, Polygon, Arbitrum support will be available on the Ronin Wallet browser extension along with a list of top dApps and the new 2024 Ronin Wallet look. We’ve also added a Known Threat warning to third-party dApps that pose a known risk to users. Simpler. Smoother. Safer.

Final Thoughts
One year ago today, we were celebrating Ronin’s upgrade to Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS). RON validators emerged to secure our network as the first third-party game studios had begun building on Ronin. Since then, we’ve become one of the most active chains by daily users and our movement has seen exponential growth across many metrics. This is what an ascending digital nation looks like – and it’s only the beginning. Let’s keep pushing.
